Britney Spears popped onto social media on Wednesday night to share her thoughts on the VMAs. The Toxic hitmaker’s behavior left many of her followers concerned about the singer. Not only was Britney rambling on, but her thoughts were not only on the award show and the entertainers; they were all over the place. Even so, that was not the most bizarre part of the video.
Many of Britney Spears’s Instagram followers are growing accustomed to seeing the pop princess share videos daily. However, her recent post immediately sparked concern and left many fans asking, ‘Is this poor woman okay?‘
The first thing viewers noticed was Britney’s voice. It sounded very off. The singer began by asking, “Did you guys watch the VMAs? I didn’t watch the VMAs, but I did see stuff on my phone from YouTube of Sabrina Carpenter.” The video was shared on X where her fans had a lot to say.
One fan immediately commented, “Omg, she looks and sounds terrible. How sad.” Britney’s voice sounded very horselike. The singer sounded like she was struggling to speak, as if sick. Some questioned if she was using a fake childlike voice.

Britney continued with her thoughts on the VMAs. She admits that she was left confused by singer Sabrina Carpenter’s performance.
“Why is she kissing an alien on stage? I adore her. I love her to death. I didn’t understand that part. Why didn’t she kiss a girl? Like, that was weird. But I also thought that the whole thing was kind of weird altogether, but after watching that, I took a really long bath.”
Spears continued her video and rambled on, quickly forgetting the point of the video and moving on to the next subject before picking back up on Sabrina.
“And I actually color. I’m into coloring right now. I like to color, and I like to trace the pictures and then go back over it… this Sabrina girl, she said my name on the red carpet and I thought that was kinda cool.
” I forget I’m famous sometimes because I’m a mom, I’m kind of old, blah blah blah. But I thought it was kind of cool, this Sabrina girl, Carpenter. She said something, I was like “Thanks, that’s cool!” She made me cool.”
Another X user writes, “Very, very odd.” One more adds, “She sounds drugged… I’m scared for Britney.” I adore britney, proper massive fan.. she’s my childhood.. hate to write this but the nose wiping.. tweaking… i Duno.. something seems off. I really hope she’s good..! adds a concerned fan.
Several other fans stood up for Britney Spears, calling the others haters and saying to leave Britney alone. “I love her, but I do worry when she posts like this. I hope she’s okay!” cried another.
