Britney Spears‘ upcoming biopic based on the singer’s 2023 book, The Woman in Me, has several Hollywood stars standing in line hoping to play the pop princess role. Choosing won’t be an easy task. The singer has a lot of thoughts about who she feels may or may not be the right person for the role.
John M. Chu is writing, and directing the project, and plans on working closely with Britney Spears to ensure the film meets her expectations. “So I want to do her justice and tell her story right. But we’ll see. We’re developing it now and it’s a long road ahead,” Chu states.
Geo News reports three top female celebrities vying for the role Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and Millie Bobby Brown. The film is currently in preproduction and many plans are still in the works.
Of course, the main priority at this point, is choosing the leading actress. No official decisions have been made yet. However, sources close to Spears claim there is one actress, in particular, the Toxic singer feels is completely wrong for the role.

No release date has been announced for the biopic. However, Britney fans are chomping at the bit after reading the bombshell memoir. They are eager to see Spears’ words play out on film. Fans are especially interested in the details about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
