Britney Spears reflects on her unusual social media activities and dance videos, creating a parallel to her family’s past treatment which caused serious nerve damage and trauma. The Toxic crooner has been more vocal about her health in recent days, especially in the wake of her hotel incident at Chateau Marmont where she sustained a broken foot. In one post, the star admitted her latest accident was hardly the only leg injury she’s sustained over the years. On the contrary, she has undergone at least three leg surgeries, prompting her to let her body do the work this time.
Britney Spears Rises Above Trauma Despite Nerve Damage
On Wednesday, the crooner gave a fresh insight into her health, making more disturbing claims. She began by sharing a black and white photo of a man bearing a placard that read, “White people have generational wealth. Black people have generational trauma. We are not the same!”
In the now-deleted post, Britney Spears accused her family of causing “serious nerve damage” to the right side of her body. According to Britney, the effect sometimes made it difficult for her to think. Despite the life-defining condition they placed her in, the star resigned herself to becoming “the bigger person” and forgiving her parents.
Admittedly, forgiving them despite the longtime impact of the nerve damage on her overall health proved difficult even for Britney Spears. Yet, she wanted to let it all go, rather than “let others down by my anger.”
The Truth Behind Britney’s IG Dance Videos
The star proceeded to clear the air about her work ethic, and fondness for sharing a lot on the gram. She attributed this to “being held in a spot against her will for a very long time.” Having lived past the trauma, Britney Spears makes a point of sharing as much as she can on social media each month, so people would understand how hard she works. She explained,
“I try to do 30 posts a month … I used to do 12 a month … so people can kind of understand why I work so much!!!”
Despite previously announcing her intention to quit the music scene, the Baby One More Time singer has yet to give up practising her dance moves. In fact, Britney Spears is known for her outrageous dance videos which she shares on the gram.
Some of these in-house performance clips have raised concern among fans, especially one where she performed with knives. Additionally, the crooner has taken to painting and culinary, occasionally sharing her works on social media to highlight her self-improvement journey.
Further validating her obsessive social media usage, Britney Spears admitted that her past experience with IG made a lasting impression on her, leaving her feeling obligated to prove herself to the world with her posts. She wrote,
“I kind of thought that because I stopped doing IG as much back then like 7 posts a month, they thought I wasn’t working hard enough. So ever since then, I’ve been working harder !!! But the thing I realize now is ‘nothing was wrong with me!!!'”
Concluding, Britney Spears clarified she was not opening up about her trauma and nerve damage just to play the victim card. Rather, she wanted the world to know that even while giving her best, some days could turn out less than perfect. She wrote,
“It’s extremely deep and to my knowledge, all I can do is do the best I can and know it’s okay to be upset some days or not to be okay and that’s something I don’t feel like the world has allowed me to do !!!”
Britney Spear’s post comes amid rumors of a possible introduction of another conservatorship due to growing mental health concerns. Insiders believe such close monitoring remains the only way to save Britney Spears from herself.
