From what we’ve seen lately, Britney Spears seems to have no remorse for her words, until now, that is. After the release of her ex, Justin Timberlake‘s latest album, Spears publicly apologizes for comments made about him in her Memoir. Being “in love with” his song, “Selfish,” is enough for her to take back everything she’d said about him that wasn’t exactly positive. Is that shallow? Totally. Does it sacrifice her already-rocky credibility just a bit more? Most definitely.
Britney Spears Apologizes to Ex Justin Timberlake After His Latest Album Released
Back when Britney Spears wrote her Memoir, “Woman In Me,” there were quite a few things commented on that weren’t exactly the nicest. Let’s face it: At this point in Britney’s life, there’s little to no chance that she really cares about how what she says affects others. In her Memoir, Britney commented on how rocky her relationship with Justin Timberlake was. She accused him of cheating on her and even mentioned an abortion she had during the time. However, given that the couple were only together for a few short years, spanning from the late 1990s to early 2000s, this is old news.
However, what isn’t old news is that Britney was willing to apologize for the rude comments she said about Timberlake because she loved a song he released in his latest album. Really, that’s not much of a reason to apologize for something so severe, but trying to figure out how Spears thinks is something not many people can do.
Lately, Justin Timberlake has been making a name for himself all over again. He released his first album in 6 years and gained the attention of his ex. On Instagram, Britney commented on how she “is in love” with his new song, “Selfish,” which kickstarted the apology process.
