BTS’ Jimin is getting ready to show fans a behind-the-scenes look at his debut solo album, FACE. On Tuesday, Oct. 10, the K-pop singer announced his first-ever solo documentary, Jimin’s Production Diary, which will document the making of his hit record. The movie will begin streaming exclusively on the South Korean app Weverse on Monday, Oct. 23. Jimin made the announcement by sharing a teaser poster, video, and release schedule for his upcoming film. The exciting news arrives seven months after the release of FACE in March.

The official poster for Jimin’s Production Diary shows BTS’ Jimin’s side profile as he performs a song in a recording studio. The image also features various song titles and lyrics from FACE behind him. In Jimin’s teaser video, the star can also be seen working on a song from his record. He continuously plays back the track to make sure it’s exactly how he wants. Jimin explained that he’s determined to make everything perfect since this is his first-ever solo album.

The next few days are going to be exciting for fans since BTS’ Jimin has a lot planned to promote his documentary. Up next, the singer will drop a “keyword interview” on Oct. 12. Then, on his 28th birthday on Oct. 13, Jimin will celebrate by unveiling his film’s main trailer. The following day, Jimin’s Production Diary will be available for pre-order on the Weverse Shop app. Fans can check out the full release calendar for his film below.
On the same day that Jimin announced his documentary, BTS’ Jungkook also revealed that he’ll be releasing his single “Too Much” in collaboration with The Kid Laroi and Central Cee on Friday, Oct. 20. The track is part of Jungkook’s debut solo album, Golden, which will arrive on Friday, Nov. 3.
