They say that drivers with stickers on their vehicle tend to be more aggressive. The reasoning? Well, stickers can be seen as “territorial markers” that signal a strong sense of ownership over their personal space. As a result, these types of drivers have been known to drive more aggressively compared to those that don’t have stickers. With that in mind, a California driver was caught on camera driving erratically and through traffic cones on a highway. What made the vehicle stand out even more was the large political sticker emblazoned over the rear windscreen, which reads, “Devil Is a Democrat.”
The footage opens on a sunny highway, and centers on a dark metallic blue SUV with a California licence plate. Across the rear windscreen is the aforementioned sticker and below it you can see a small white “MAGA” sticker to boot. Not only is the SUV driving erratically and swerving from right to left, but they also manage to knock over several traffic cones, which are set up on the side of the highway.
The beginning of the video is accompanied by a couple of snippets of context that says, “At first, I thought it was an accident, then I realised it was intentional.” and another that simply reads, “Road Rage“. The person recording the clip can be heard exclaiming, “Oh, would you look at that. Just look at it. Just look at it. What the heck is that?” before laughing hysterically.
How People Are Reacting to the Bizarre Clip
Of course, many netizens were not very pleased by the driver’s poor driving skills, with one person writing, “Why is he purposefully running over the traffic cones?” while another jokingly replied, “He’s a Republican. They don’t want their tax dollars spent on road repairs or anything else that might benefit a minority..” Another simply chimed in with disbelief, expressing, “You can’t make this up“. Meanwhile, a fourth commenter penned, “Anger is their brand” referencing the political sticker on the back of the vehicle. A further comment from Reddit summed things up, declaring, “Dudes a literal menace to society but yeah the devils a democrat 🙄”
