In a creepy encounter at a Los Angeles, California, beach, an influencer was harassed by a random man while she was recording herself, posing for social media. The awkward and bizarre moment was shared online, leaving many in shock by the uncomfortable interaction.
The clip was shared to Instagram by influencer withrubina (Rubina), where it garnered close to 80K likes and thousands of comments. As the woman was recording herself at a California beach, a shirtless man approached her and put his arm around her. Immediately, Rubina is seen nervous, not fully understanding what was going on, and watching the man in shock.
“I don’t know this man. I think you should probably…” Rubina said before she was interrupted by the man, saying, “I also don’t know this girl.”
Rubina then awkwardly escaped the man’s embrace, who was posing for the camera and flexing his muscles. Without taking the hint, the weird man explained his behaviour, saying, “I just want to make picture better like this.” Then, the man entered the video frame and flexed his muscles even more, to Rubina’s disbelief.
“You know what it’s like being a girl? That,” the influencer said to the camera.
Just when the video could not get any more bizarre, the man then asked Rubina, “Don’t you know me?” to which the influencer responded, “No.” The man told her that’s her “mistake,” and then put his hand on her shoulder.
“Help! Being a girl is hard,” Rubina concluded.
Weird Man Blasted, Reactions
Many reacted in disgust, blasting the man for harassing Rubina out in the open. One user said, “Not all men, but always a man.” A second one commented, “I would’ve been mad if a stranger touched me!! You’re far too kind!” A third one added, “The way he kept touching you, I wanna throw up.“
The California influencer went on to explain that she was “too nice” to the man because she was “genuinely flabbergasted” by what was happening and that “you just never know what a man will do, especially when they’re being rejected.”
“Let me make one thing clear: we dress up and look cute for US, NOT YOU,” Rubina sentenced.
