A home inspector who was working in a suburban neighborhood was unexpectedly harassed by an unknown male wearing glasses and a hat. It remains unclear whether the two exchanged words beforehand, as the video begins only at the moment when the male Karen is already approaching the home inspector.
The home inspector quickly warned the man to keep his distance, stating that he was making him feel threatened. The inspector also pointed out that the stranger had no right to tell him what to do, since they were both in a public space. The California man, however, only continued walking closer in silence, ignoring the repeated warnings.
The home inspector tried to walk back while insisting that the man needed to get out of his face, clearly showing he did not want trouble. The stranger finally replied that he did not have to go anywhere. Feeling annoyed and increasingly on edge, the home inspector gave one final warning, saying that if the man came closer again, he would knock him out. The man clearly did not take the warning seriously, and he closed the distance once more.
Well, the California man very quickly found out that the home inspector had not been bluffing about his threat. While the actual punch was not captured in the footage, the video abruptly cuts to a scene showing the man leaning against a nearby car, his face bloodied and swollen. He no longer looked like the aggressor. Instead, he appeared dazed, black-and-blue, and very much in pain. A large puddle of blood was also visible on the ground, making it clear just how badly the confrontation had ended for him.
Though it is generally best to avoid physical altercations, many internet users applauded the home inspector for refusing to act like a doormat when the California man harassed him.
