A man in California couldn’t believe his eyes as he was dining inside a Mexican restaurant in San Diego. The man named Michael was shocked to see other patrons wearing MAGA hats inside the establishment, where so many Latino people are employed. So, he decided to say something, and what followed was a political explosion right inside the restaurant. Of course, Michael filmed his encounter with the Trump supporters so that the internet could see.
In the TikTok clip, Michael rapidly approaches the table of California MAGA members as they’re eating. “You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Inside of a Mexican restaurant. Y’all are f—ing Nazis,” he tells them.
Michael goes on to reveal that they should take their hats off because many of the people there may have family being impacted by ICE raids, ect. However, the pair defends themselves by claiming they’re known and liked at the establishment. “They know us well and they love us,” another man says. “You’re way out of line,” he adds before Michael walks out of the venue.

“I cannot stand it any longer,” he wrote on the post. “Couldn’t help myself. It’s bad enough that we have to coexist but to willingly wear MAGA hats in a Mexican restaurant with the horrible atrocities being committed against these people is a disgrace. I refuse to make them feel comfortable,” the caption stated.
In the comment section, one service worker thanked Michael for confronting the patrons, revealing that they’re not allowed to say anything in those types of situations.
“I’m glad you spoke up,” another comment stated.
“Thank you for your service, patriot,” declared one TikTok user.
“I am convinced anyone wearing a MAGA hat in public just does it for attention,” a third person quipped.
“That’s a brave choice to wear a MAGA hat in a Mexican restaurant and actually eat what they bring you,” a fourth social media user chimed in.
The Video Blew Up On TikTok
Meanwhile, the video blew up with more than 6.5 million views, 1.4 million likes, and over 32,000 comments. The clip went so viral that Michael decided to do a follow-up video, revealing that he wanted other MAGA supporters to expect more of the same if they continue the trend. “It’s such a blessing that it’s reached so many people,” he said of the viral TikTok. He later also shared a video of the people through the window as he was leaving the establishment.
This California man is just one of many who seem to be fed up with MAGA politics, especially when it comes to the treatment of immigrants. His video shows just one of many cases where tensions have risen between the sides, and it doesn’t seem like things are going to change anytime soon.
