Families have used diapers or something along those lines to clothe their babies for centuries. However, what happens when those very items of clothing are no longer safe for the little ones to wear? Well, that’s exactly what happened to this California mother of two. She would then post a TikTok video regarding finding pieces of glass in a new box of diapers for her baby. The video has hit viral status since its posting, racking up over 3.9 million views on the social media app.

Found a piece of glass in my baby’s Pampers Swaddler Size 6, purchased in the last month in California. What do I do?? Does anybody have any other diaper recommendations? 😣 #momsoftiktok

The TikTok begins with the woman holding her phone as viewers are looking down facing some diapers. The items have been placed inside plastic bags, seemingly for safety reasons. The California native then can be heard explaining that she found glass while changing her baby’s diaper. The child involved is reportedly around nine months old, and the mother is obviously and rightfully concerned about her discovery. However, that is just the beginning of it.

California Mother Uncovers Glass in Her Baby’s Diapers

As the video goes on, the woman states that when she was changing her child, a shard of glass from inside the diaper had been jabbed into her hand. She then holds a pair of tweezers in front of her camera, showing the shard of glass. She then shows the wound on her hand, where the shard had allegedly been lodged. The video’s comment section was filled with concerned parents after this, as well as others who don’t even have children. “Now we know why babies cry for no reason,” wrote one.

As the TikTok continues, the California woman begins to state her shock. “I really don’t know what’s going on here,” she can be heard saying. The caption written by the woman states that she had purchased the diapers just a few weeks back. The clip also has a written caption overlapping the video that reads, “Glass in Pampers?” The mother-of-two then declares that she will, in fact, be looking into other brands of diapers to buy for her baby.

The chilling experience surely had the California woman confused. However, others online have also claimed to have found glass in their child’s Pampers. It would seem more need to follow in this woman’s footsteps and find a new brand of diapers for their children. No parent should have to worry about the safety of their baby due to a diaper. Although this situation could have ended with a much worse outcome, it’s a terrifying experience nonetheless.
