California Teen Blasted For Calling ICE On Live Broadcast Because Of ‘Mexicans’ In Her Comments: ‘They’ll Take Her Too’

So ignorant of her

A livestream turned into a whistleblower session as a California teen called ICE, attempting to report the Mexican viewers who were in her comment section. Part of the live session was posted on X. The Black teen looked visibly disturbed as she dialed the number for the agency: “They need to come get these Mexicans up out my comments,” she said. She then threw a jab at the agency, saying they were meant to deport people, so they should pick up and do exactly that. She redialed the number and got a response that tips were accepted on a website.

Black Teen girl literally calls ICE during a live broadcast—on Mexicans leaving comments.

"Why ICE not answering?" she says getting upset.

"They better come get these Mexicans out of my comments!"

"You're supposed to come and deport people—do your job."

The operator then translated it into Spanish, and the teen flew off, dismissing the language. She then made a joke, wondering if the Mexicans called in to report each other, before the stream was cut off.

California Teen Faces Fierce Backlash From Netizens

Observers stormed the comments, condemning the teen’s behavior. Many drew historical parallels with systemic oppression and warnings about racial profiling. Some users highlighted the lack of solidarity, calling for better empathy among minorities.

A commenter wrote, “They’ll take her, too. I am a black woman, and I know ICE is not my friend.” A user stressed that the clip was proof that racial discrimination and ignorance could come from anyone, regardless of their own racial background. Another marveled at the idea, questioning how individuals from historically mistreated groups could justify inflicting similar prejudice on others. Someone else criticized the teen’s shortsightedness, warning that racial profiling exposes Black people to the same scrutiny as the Latino communities. An analytical user wrote, “She needs a history lesson. What ICE is doing to Latinos is exactly what slave patrols were doing to blacks 200 years ago and what the KKK was doing 100 years ago and what banks were doing on paper 50 years ago. She’s so angry about her struggle that they got her doing it to others.”

Attributing the behavior to environmental influences, a commenter suggested that discriminatory attitudes are often passed down through family upbringing. Many users expressed outright exhaustion with the societal division America is facing in recent times. One viewer shared their frustration over persistent hatred coming from all directions, from different groups and perspectives. Another emphasized the numerous severe consequences of calling the authorities, pointing out the dangerous conditions, even life-threatening ones, detainees face in immigration facilities.

The responses to the teen’s actions highlight the need for people to be kind to each other, especially those who suffer the same prejudices. Hate is never the way.
