With the Coachella music festival still happening at the moment, many people around the globe have come to Los Angeles, California, to see their favorite artists. However, sometimes the artist is there to see the fans. That was the case for this California woman who got to give it her all in front of a member of the pop-punk band Blink-182. As the woman continued singing Karaoke, it took her some time before she realized Tom DeLonge was in the crowd.
Luckily, there were plenty of bystanders there to make a TikTok to document this hilarious interaction. In the video, the California woman can be seen and heard jamming out to Blink-182’s song titled, All The Small Things. As the clearly intoxicated woman and crowd start getting into the song, Tom DeLonge starts to burst out laughing. However, the singer seemed to be laughing with the woman rather than at her. Although that did not stop many TikTokers from jokingly saying that, “She had no idea he was at her show.” According to The Sun, Tom kept a pretty low profile until the phones started coming out. It seems as though the musician was having a night out with some buddies when this encounter occurred.
California Woman and Blink-182 Fan Sings One of Their Songs In Front of Tom DeLonge
The band Blink-182 is made up of a trio including Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker. They still make music together to this day, although Tom did take a brief leave of absence from the band. While he is back now, many fans want to know why he was gone in the first place. Mark and Tom handle the vocals and guitars while Travis rocks out on the drums. Barker has become a very famous drummer and even lends his talents to other artists’ tracks from time to time. Blink-182 had and still has a huge following of devoted fans, and that probably won’t change anytime soon.
Tom DeLonge has since returned to the band as of 2022. However, it’s still shaky as to why he was gone. As for the California woman, unfortunately, it seems as though she did not get to meet Tom. At least not in the video anyway. However, her singing has reached plenty of people and maybe even the rest of the band members. She put some of her heart and soul into that rendition of All The Small Things, and that shouldn’t go unnoticed. Maybe next time she can sing for all three members of Blink-182.
