TikTok has shown time and time again the horrors of working in the service industry. There are countless videos on social media platforms, among others, that are just downright insane. In a video recently posted to the account @notnumba3, a California Woman is seen having a full-on meltdown over a single chicken nugget. The video has over 1 million likes and 5 million views, and it has most definitely reached viral status.
The TikTok starts off with the action already in full swing. Viewers can also see Karen front and center as she begins her freakout. However, the text on the video reads, “POV: You were missing 1 chicken nugget from your $3 meal.” Already, the situation appears to be out of control. However, things would only continue to escalate. The California woman can be heard screaming some not-so-nice words at the employees of the McDonald’s she had wandered into. Yet, despite the hostility, the person behind the counter continues to record.
TikTok Roasts California Karen After McDonald’s Freakout
The TikTok’s comment section certainly had a lot to say regarding the situation. However, many of them were not in favor of the random woman screaming throughout the restaurant. “Folks be too old to be acting like this,” wrote one. “All this over McDonald’s by the way,” joked another. “I know she was posting to Facebook about y’all too,” stated one other. Finally, another commentator asked, “Why do adults act out like this?”
As the TikTok progresses, the California Karen continues her rampage throughout the establishment. She then turns her attention to the person standing behind the counter, as she begins making fun of their appearance. The Karen also calls out the person recording for having a worse phone than hers for some reason. The older woman can also be heard screaming to “Give me my money,” as she clearly wanted a refund.
The altercation escalated to the point where police were called. Although teh California Karen states she doesn’t care about the police. She continues to yell about getting her money, and she begins to look a little nervous about the cops coming. Unfortunately, the video would cut off pretty abruptly after this. It is unknown whether this woman was arrested or even stayed to speak with the police. This kind of behavior is entirely uncalled for, especially over a McDonald’s order. Hopefully, this woman sees this video and understands that she was definitely in the wrong.
