Activision and Treyarch have released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 that shows off the game’s story.

It has been known for some time that Black Ops 3 would take the same route that Advanced Warfare took by looking into a dark and gritty future. In this future, the line between humanity and military technology has been blurred and a new breed of Black Ops soldier has emerged. The protagonist in Black Ops 3 has a direct neural interface installed directly into his head, making his mind his greatest weapon.

There will be a lot of secrets to uncover in Black Ops 3. Unfortunately, PS3 and Xbox 360 owners won’t get the chance to uncover said secrets. Those versions will only ship with the popular Zombies mode and online multiplayer.

The Call of Duty: Black ops 3 beta happened earlier this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This marks one of the first times that any game in the franchise was playable by the general public in an early form. Was the beta enough to help Call of Duty be a solid entry in this year’s release of shooters? Only time will tell.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC on November 6.
