Recent leaks byย dataminersย have revealed too much for the nextย Call of Dutyย game, including the name of the weapons, some of theย main characters, and most importantly, a logo.ย According to The Verge, this logo doesย inย factย relate toย Call of Duty 2024, and with that confirmed, we have got ourselves a reveal date for the nextย Black Opsย game!

There are two redacted pieces above and below theย Call of Duty 2024 logo, and if you look closely, very tiny parts of the title are visible. Most importantly, if youย take aย look at the upper right of the bottom text, itsย colorย isย orange;ย just like the other numberedย Black Opsย titles.
Thankfully, The Gaming Revolution has solved this puzzle, and it looks like it is indeedย Black Ops V! This is mind-blowing after all the leaks about theย Black Ops Gulf Warย and the game being set in the early 90s. Not to change directions here, though, the game might still take place after the Cold Warย era, but flashes forward to the future featuring David Mason is now very welcome with this new title.
Sinceย Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, every singleย CoDย game’s title that came after was leaked months before the reveal. And if this game is calledย Black Ops V, this is the first time after many years that we’re left shocked byย dataminersย digging wrong info about the nextย CoD‘s title.
Call of Duty: Black Ops V is due to release in 2024, and will be revealed on June 9.
