With Joker: Folie à Deux in theatres, Call of Duty has released a brand new Black Ops 6 teaser, addressing the character. The Black Ops 6 teaser features The Replacer ‘clowning around’ as he’s probably replacing Arthur Fleck so that he can play some Call of Duty.
After years of waiting, the Joker 2 movie is finally released, starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown King of Gotham. However, the movie isn’t hitting the top with the reviewers slamming the clown back to the circus. Even a prominent CoD Zombies YouTuber has not enjoyed the movie, and Call of Duty has addressed the title in its recent Black Ops 6 teaser.
The Replacer, a man who replaces players to do their daily tasks so that they can enjoy playing Call of Duty, is back again for Black Ops 6. And this time, he’s replacing the Joker? With all the bad reviews of the movie, the message is pretty clear. Some fans have addressed this Black Ops 6 situation by stating that ‘This clip was better than Joker 2.’ Another user goes on saying that ‘The Replacer is a true hero for replacing the main character of a hilariously bad movie.’
Studio Treyarch and Activision’s marketing team have done a fantastic job in the past couple of months promoting Black Ops 6, but this one in particular is on a whole other level. It’s not a common trade for Call of Duty to make fun of failing movies, but turns out, The Replacer is the jack of all trades, even Joker if need be.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is only a few weeks away from us, and this time, we won’t be getting a Campaign early access. This is frustrating news for the fans who’d rather finish the story mode first before diving into the Multiplayer and Zombies, something that The Replacer should’ve done for us.
