Black Ops 6 is the one Call of Duty game that’s assumed to save the day after MW3‘s $70 DLC controversy, and it sounds like we don’t need to wait long to sink our teeth in. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 early access and open beta are right around the corner and the release dates are confirmed by Xbox. This is great news for CoD fans, and an extra content to consider for those loving Star Wars and Frank Woods at the same time.
Black Ops 6 Early Access and Open Beta Release Dates
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 early access beta begins on August 30, 2024. Players who have pre-ordered the game and Game Pass subscribers can drop in BO6 on early access. There’s no mention of specific platforms launching the beta earlier like we had in the previous years.
Black Ops 6 open beta will start on September 6, almost a week after the early access period. All players who have not even purchased the game can get to test the BO6 Multiplayer mode at this time. And again, there’s no sign of PlayStation getting ahead of
How To Play Black Ops 6 Beta
You’re automatically signed up to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta on early access if you’ve already pre-ordered the game digitally, or if you’re a subscriber to Game Pass. If you buy the game from the participant retailers, however, you’d have to enter the beta code given to you on Call of Duty’s official webpage.
According to CharlieIntel, Activision is giving away 50,000 free Black Ops 6 beta codes during this summer’s CDL Champ’s stream on YouTube. So if you’re after earning a BO6 beta code for free, make sure you link your Activision account to your YT and watch CDL for the giveaway. Remember, you must watch at least 60 minutes to have a chance of earning a code.
