The one thing that the Black Ops 6 leaks didn’t fully give away was a complete list of weapons that’d be available in the upcoming beta. Thankfully, Call of Duty Next has revealed the list, and we’ve got ourselves 16 new weapons this year with Black Ops 6‘s Multiplayer beta. The list will definitely expand at launch, but Treyarch has removed one weapon category entirely it seems.

Looking at the Black Ops 6 weapons list, the XM4 and AK-74 are the shining diamonds. First of all, the XM4 looks and plays just as it did in Black Ops Cold War, and the AK-74 looks like the AK-47 in real life, but it comes with less recoil.
The one important thing to notice here is that the Battle Rifle weapon category from MW2 and MW3 is entirely removed. To be honest, we didn’t need that anyway, and it didn’t come with super meta guns in the past two years. But on the other hand, we’ve got the SWAT 5.56 burst rifle that comes with that lovely MP5-looking iron sight!
C9 SMG is the MP5 itself that looks just like the Lachmann-Sub and Shroud from MW2. But the Jackal PDW is so brand new like if the UZI and AK-47u give birth to a new SMG that features low recoil and hits such powerful shots. In the end, Tanto .22 plays a lot like the WSP-9 in the current MW3; kicking hard with a super slow fire rate.
Alongside all the new weapons, Black Ops 6 Gunsmith comes with some of the kindest attachments to use on your guns. That’s because these weapon attachments give you the least penalty to deal with, and the best buffs that you’ll get to experience in the upcoming Black Ops 6 beta on August 30, 2024.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to release on October 25, 2024, on PS5, PS4,
