Can Celesteela be shiny in Pokémon GO
This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of the two new Ultra Beasts introduced to Pokémon GO in September of 2022 is Celesteela, and many Trainers are likely wondering if they are able to catch a Shiny variant of this pocket monster. Shiny variations of Pokémon have always been the most sought-after versions of pocket monsters, as they provide a unique appearance compared to the default look. Similarly, although Shiny Celesteela in Pokémon GO would not offer any bonus benefits in combat, it would undoubtedly be a treat to collectors to have the rare white-colored version of the Ultra Beast.

Can Trainers Catch Shiny Celesteela In Pokémon GO

Unfortunately, Ultra Beast Celesteela cannot be encountered as a Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO as of September 14, 2022. Of course, this does not rule out an event or release of the Shiny variant in the future. Nevertheless, until then, Trainers can only catch the normal version of Celesteela.

To catch the non-Shiny Celesteela in Pokémon GO, Trainers will need to participate in the Ultra Beast’s 5-Star Raid. Naturally, such an endeavor will require the highest CP pocket monsters that one owns. Furthermore, understanding which elemental Movesets are able to counter Celesteela is also crucial for success. Thanks to research conducted by Pokebattler, Trainers can know exactly which pocket monsters they should bring to the Ultra Beast Raid.
