Want to know if Regieleki can be shiny in Pokemon Go? Although the number of unique pocket monsters in Pokemon Go is rapidly approaching the 1,000th mark, many Trainers are only interested in catching the rarest Pokemon. And if getting the rarest regional Pokemon depends on specific events and your opportunity to travel, then getting Shiny and Legendary Shiny Pokemon requires a lot of effort and preparation. One of the newest Legendary Pokemon to visit the Raid Gyms some times in the past few months is Regieleki; we’ll tell you if it can be Shiny in Pokemon Go.

Can Regieleki be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

Despite gamers’ expectations, Regieleki cannot be Shiny in Pokemon Go. This Pokemon debuted on April 9, 2023, as a 5-Star Raid boss and is one of the newcomers to the world of Pokemon Go. After that, Regieleki appeared in the Season 11: Hidden Gems poster, and players believed this meant Shiny Regieleki’s debut in the game. After all, often even the legendary Pokemon do not appear in the raid halls so often. However, the hopes were in vain.

We probably shouldn’t expect Shiny Regieleki to arrive before Spring/Summer 2024. As per Pokemon Go tradition, most Pokemon, especially legendary ones, receive their rare version a year after their debut in the gaming world. But this tradition is full of exceptions.

However, you should not miss the opportunity to get at least the classic version of Regieleki. From July 13 to July 25, 2023, Regieleki is a 5-Star Raid Boss, and you still have time to defeat and add it to your collection. As an Electric-type Pokémon, Regieleki is weak against ground-type attacks. Thus, any Pokémon using ground-type movesets will be effective in this fight. Here is the best build to defeat this Legendary Pokemon faster:

  • Primal Groudon: Mud Shot and Precipice Blades.
  • Groudon: Mud Shot and Precipice Blades.
  • Garchomp: Mud Shot and Earth Power.
  • Rhyperior: Mud-Slab and Earthquake.
  • Excadrill: Mud-Slap and Drill Run.
  • Mamoswine: Mud-Slap and High Horsepower.

What Does Shiny Regieleki Look Like?

As for the appearance of Shiny Regieleki, it is not much different from the classic version of this Pokemon. The Shiny version has the same yellow body color and orange eyes. But instead of the blue hoops around his body and the hands of the Shiny version, they are soft white. And it is worth noting that the rare version of this Pokemon looks much more gentle and pleasant.
