This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

It’s easy to take damage in Lethal Company, but healing is much harder. You don’t heal as you explore a moon, meaning the damage you take during an expedition doesn’t go away. Though traveling to a new moon gives you a renewed start, it doesn’t help you survive while being chased by monsters. Can you heal in Lethal Company, or are there no reliable healing sources?

How Healing Works in Lethal Company

Lethal Company Taking Damage

Every player starts at full health, as indicated by your health bar in the upper left corner. The health bar is an image of your suit that starts with no color. As you take damage, the silhouette begins to turn red. When the suit glows bright red, you are about to die from whatever is attacking you. If you fail to get away in time, you quickly die, and other players must pick up the slack.

You do not regenerate health during your expedition unless you’re under 20 HP, and the terminal store doesn’t sell any healing items. If you are under 20 HP, you’ll regenerate until you hit that threshold but then recover no more. As long as you are exploring the moon, you must watch your health and avoid taking damage. There’s no option to revive other players if they die to a monster either, though all dead players revive later. Taking damage is also not the only way to die, as quicksand is capable of killing you without dealing any damage.

If players manage to return to the ship and go into orbit, everyone is restored to full health. Every player that died will also be revived after paying a small fine. This is the only way to heal in Lethal Company, and it can be done even if you just arrive on a moon. Be careful of flying into orbit too frequently, as it does move time forward by a day.

Here’s a quick recap about healing:

  1. Your health bar is in the upper left and looks like an empty suit.

As you take damage, it turns red until you die.

  2. You do not regenerate health unless you’re under 20% max, and you can’t buy healing items at the terminal store.

  3. Flying into orbit will fully heal every player and revive anyone who died.

However, this action moves time forward by a day.
