Zonai Devices are valuable tools in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that help you during your adventure in Hyrule, but can you sell them in stores? These devices were created by the Zonai, ancient people from Hyrule’s past. You can typically find these devices lying around in the open world. There are Zonai Device Dispensers scattered throughout the game that will shoot out several Zonai Decives in exchange for Zonai charges. The Dispensers will shoot out the Zonai Devices in orbs that Link can pick up and put in his inventory.

Normally, you can sell stuff in your inventory at a store or with Beedle, the traveling merchant. Almost every town in Hyrule has a store that will buy items from you. Beedle can be found nearby any stable in Hyrule; he’s either walking alongside the road near the stable or sitting inside the stable building.

You can’t sell Zonai Devices at stores or with Beedle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The game won’t even give you the option to sell your Zonai Devices; you are limited to only selling Materials, Meals, and Armor.

Materials make up most of the items you discover in the game, including items used for recipes for Meals and attack items you can fuse with weapons. Meals are dishes you cook up with Materials at a fire spot with a pot. Armor is the gear and clothing that Link wears.

You need Zonai Devices to solve most puzzles in Tears of the Kingdom. You use the devices in conjunction with Link’s Ultrahand to create gadgets to help you overcome obstacles. Nearly all Shrines in the game require the available Zonai Devices to solve them.

Here is the full list of Zonai Devices you can pick up in the game:

  • Fan
  • Wing
  • Cart
  • Balloon
  • Rocket
  • Time Bomb
  • Portable Pot
  • Flame Emitter
  • Frost Emitter
  • Shock Emitter
  • Beam Emitter
  • Hydrant
  • Steering Stick
  • Big Wheel
  • Small Wheel
  • Sled
  • Battery
  • Big Battery
  • Spring
  • Cannon
  • Stabilizer
  • Hover Stone
  • Light
  • Stake
  • Mirror
  • Homing Cart
  • Construct Head

Each Zonai Device takes up a slot in your Zonai inventory, and there’s a limited supply of how much available Zonai Device you can have. You can only pick up Zonai Devices in orbs and add them to your inventory. Once you take out a device from your inventory, you cannot re-add it to your inventory.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available for Nintendo Switch.
