Cardi B and Madonna have fixed their social media slight on the latter’s Sex book rift. The singers have finally reconciled following their disagreement.
Cardi and Madonna settled their differences after Madonna’s reflective comments on Instagram led to their online blowout. The musicians made amends following comments the Queen of Pop made while reflecting on the 30th anniversary of her Sex book.

Madonna, 64, took to Instagram on Saturday, October 22, to reflect on the 30th anniversary of Sex coffee table book which showed photos of “Men kissing Men, Woman kissing Woman, and Me kissing everyone.”
She then went on to point out the intense criticism she received when the book was published. She also hinted on helping to pave the way for other female artists’ freedom to express their sexuality.
“Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked ass and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball,” the iconic singer wrote.
Per Variety, Cardi took to Twitter to express her displeasure over Madonna’s post in a series of now-deleted tweets. The 30-year-old superstar rapper especially felt disrespected by the last sentence of Madonna’s post, which read, “You’re welcome bitches,” with a clown emoji.
“I literally [paid] this woman homage so many times cause I grew up listening to her… she can make her point without putting clown emojis and getting slick out the mouth,” the I Like It rapper wrote while sharing a screenshot of a 2018 article in which she praised Madonna. “These icons really become disappointments once u make it in the industry that’s why I keep to myself.”

Shortly after, Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee tweeted that he was on the phone with the star musicians and “listening to both women share their perspective on the communication going on has broadened their love for each other.”
Following Lee’s update, Cardi and Madonna took to Twitter to update fans that they had settled their issues. Appearing on Hollywood Unlocked, Cardi shared that Madonna’s comments had hurt her feelings as the veteran musician was somebody she looked up to.
