Carrie Underwood largely impressed fans in a rare swimwear selfie as she ushered in water months in her June 2020 Instagram share, but it looks like the haters couldn’t stay away. Snapping a photo from her spacious closet as she showed off her innovative laundry machines setup, the American Idol winner sizzled in a herringbone bathing suit, also making sure to shout out her CALIA clothing brand as she modeled an item from her best-selling brand.
Flaunting her shredded abs and gym-honed legs, Carrie showed off her ultra-fit figure for her fans, however some couldn’t help but body-shame her. Also victims of online body-shaming are celebrities including singer Selena Gomez and former Disney star Demi Lovato.
Carrie Underwood Shows Off ‘Summer’ Swimwear On Instagram
Posing barefoot as she rocked her monochrome swimsuit, Carrie showed off her toned abs and legs while also flaunting her sculpted arms and shoulders. Flashing a little curve via her low-cut top, the singer went skintight in her stylish pool look, also rocking her blonde locks down in casual beachy waves.
Going sunkissed with a light layer of makeup, Carrie kept her look simple as she gave a nod to “summer” in her caption. She also tagged CALIA, adding a #ChooseYou as she marked the “first day” of warmer months.
Body-Shamed By Trolls
While over 400,000 fans left likes, some seemed in the mood to troll Underwood. One fan told her to “eat” as they added that she has the body of a “pre-teen.”
“Sorry. She may be slim, but she has a boyish shape in that B- Suit,” another hurtfully said. “Too skinny, no body left,” a third remarked. Carrie does not appear to have responded to any of the comments. She is, however, having the last laugh on the fitness front as her CALIA clothing continues to fly off shelves. In 2020, and five years after launching her apparel label, Underwood released her Fit52 workout app.
Calling fitness “a true passion” in a statement, Carrie continued: “The Fit52 app incorporates what I’ve been doing myself for years, and we’ve made it easy and totally accessible for anyone that wants help to work in working out. We worked really hard to create a high-quality, user-friendly app that is designed for busy people and their busy lives. Fit52 meets you wherever you are on your health journey, and I’m so proud of it.”
