The Local Legends are strong minibosses from Liyue and Fontaine. These enemies have higher HP and strength; even some of these legends live underwater and have unique mechanics to defeat them. For example, you can use a specific Xenochromatic Creature to attack or stop the enemy’s hits. Many Travelers can revive traumas just by mentioning Vivianne of the Lake or Rocky Avildsen. However, defeating all 18 Local Legends is a great way to get Primogems and complete achievements. According to leaks from Genshin Impact, the nation of war, Natlan, will not be left behind and will have a similar mechanic called the Night Trails.
In the Pyro nation, players will find obsidian altars around the map, which are the gateways to the ancient Night Kingdom, home of the Nightsoul warriors. At these altars, Natlan warriors can prove their worth and accept the challenge of the shadows of the Night Kingdom. Each challenge has its own theme and enemy they face. According to the leaks for Genshin Impact 5.0, Natlan will bring six Night Trails of different elements. In these challenges, the bosses are human warriors and some unique creatures. One appears briefly during the Natlan Preview Teaser – Lil’ Buddy.
In the following updates, players will see if Natlan gets even more Night Trails to test the characters arriving in each Version. In the meantime, players should prepare for 5.0, especially to get enough Primogems for all the new waifus and husbandos. Players will have to wait for the next edition of the Special Program to find out. The nation of war and its Archon have much more in store for the Travelers in this new chapter.
