Marvel’s Daredevil may have been saved, after all. Just not in the way many expected. According to a Patreon post from industry insider Daniel Richtman (via KnightEdgeMedia), several cast members from the canceled Daredevil series could appear in the upcoming Echo series on Disney+.
Furthermore, Marvel Studios is said to be developing a Daredevil solo project with Charlie Cox once again playing the Man Without Fear. This project would also be a soft reboot of the franchise.

What does this mean? Even though a lot of the cast would be coming back, this solo project would not be canon to the Netflix series. So, it’s a relatively new beginning for the franchise while keeping the fan-favorite cast.
This is just the latest in many rumors involving characters from the Daredevil series. For months, there has been talk of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home and the She-Hulk Disney+ show. There have also been rumblings of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk making an appearance in the Hawkeye series.
While everyone seems to be excited over all of these rumors (justifiably so), it should be noted that none of this information is official and you should take it with a grain of salt. At least, for now.
Marvel’s Daredevil was canceled in 2018 after just three seasons with Marvel Studios officially regaining the rights to the characters in 2020. Since that time, fans have clamored for some kind of revival featuring the cast from the series. It’s not just the fans, either. During an interview with ScreenRant, Vincent D’Onofrio said that he would “jump at the chance” to play Wilson Fisk again.
I do take it as a compliment. I so badly want to play that character again. I love that character. I just have to wait for Marvel to ask me. I think it’s very clear that I would, and the fans know that I would jump at the chance to play again. I just need to be asked.”
