Cher is not having the best New Year. The singer is having a difficult time with her children, especially with Cher’s son. The 77-year-old entertainer overstepped her boundaries with her sons once too often and now faces the sad and heartbreaking consequences.
Cher Abandoned by Her Sons Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman
For several months, Cher claims she has been doing everything possible to help her sons—namely Elijah Blue Allman. The 77-year-old Believe singer claims she is worried sick about her youngest son. She says that Elijah is spiraling out of control with his drug addiction issues, and she fears not only for his life but for his financial security. So, she attempted to put him under conservatorship to protect him and get him the help he needed.
Cher took the issue to court. During the hearing, she claimed her son had mental health and drug addiction issues. She stated that Elijah received regular inheritance payouts from his late father, Gregg Allman’s estate. The worried mom also said she was worried that her son would blow through his money, so she petitioned for a temporary conservatorship, which she was denied.

Singer Banned From Son’s Wedding
Cher is feeling lonely and abandoned by both of her sons. Things are so bad between her and Chaz Bono that he has removed his mother from his wedding guest list. According to Intouch sources close to Cher, the situation was sad and heartbreaking. They stated that Cher has tried to be there for her children. However, the singer is devastated because neither of her children wants anything to do with her.
The singer is not getting any younger, even though she looks like she is. So, now that she is well into her golden years, at 77, Cher is crushed that her sons have abandoned her. The family is back in court in March, so they can come to a suitable agreement and work through all of their family issues.
