Children might say the darndest things, but they’re also brutally honest. It doesn’t matter what the subject is; if you want an incredibly accurate review of something, just ask a child. One Reddit user posted a video depicting two young girls giving a nearby ice cream truck one of the most critical reviews I’ve ever heard.
The video starts with a mother asking two young girls about what happened. The two girls, who appear to be twins, immediately criticize the ice cream truck they’d just visited. They go on to say that the cost of two ice cream cones with chewing gum included would have cost them nine quid, which is equivalent to about $12 USD. To make things worse, it seems the truck only took card, so the girls couldn’t use the cash they brought anyway.
They continue to criticize the truck, saying that they’ve been able to buy ice cream from other trucks in the neighborhood for a fraction of the price. The girl explaining even goes so far as to speak louder to make sure that the ice cream vendor, who must have still been nearby, could hear her.

The replies immediately filled with people commenting on the girl’s demeanor and how she handled the situation. Many believe that she chose those words because she’d probably heard them before. More specifically, that she might have heard them from her parents.

Others were more focused on her accent and how she annunciated her words. Regardless, anyone can agree that the price is way out of the normal range, so she isn’t wrong by any means. Hopefully, the two girls did manage to get their ice cream and chewing gum for a more reasonable price!
