When you feel like solving a deep and perplexing mystery, no game genre is better than the detective genre. Allowing you to search for clues and put together a spiderweb of leads into a coherent motive and suspect can be a slow burn but a rewarding experience unlike most other games out there. One such game in that genre that’s proving to be ever the more intriguing leading up to its release is Chinatown Detective Agency, which has a big announcement to make. That’s right, Humble Games and General Interactive Co are happy to announce that Chinatown Detective Agency is making its debut on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on April 7, with a new trailer that you can find below!

Solving Mysteries in the Heart of Chinatown

Chinatown Detective Agency follows Amira Darma as she runs her own detective agency in the sprawling city of Singapore. With a sprawling set of clientele and a whole host of deep mysteries to unravel, Amira’s story is sure to be both a lengthy and intriguing venture, full of plenty of clues to uncover that will lead you to your eventual end goal. What separates this game from many other detective experiences though is not its pixel art world or interesting cast of characters, but its connection the real world and requiring IRL clues to solve. Whether that be tracking down a quote or discovering an airport code, there’s plenty for you to discover in and out of the game, improving the heightened level of immersion.

All of this will be yours to unravel when Chinatown Detective Agency makes its star-studded debut on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on April 7! For more details regarding the game among other things, be sure to head over to the game’s Steam page (other storefront pages will follow close to release).

Will you be solving mysteries in Humble Games and General Interactive Co’s Chinatown Detective Agency? What’s the greatest mystery in a game that you’ve been able to solve? Let me know!
