Snapshot Games and the creator of X-COM joined forces to create a new game that has all the essence of real-time strategy games but is packed with much more action. In Chip ‘N Clawz vs. the Brainioids, players can enjoy the mechanics that make strategy games so unique, but with fast-paced third-person combat that makes it more appealing to a broader audience. This is in addition to colorful and cartoonish graphics and unique characters.

Chip ‘N Clawz vs. the Brainioids will focus on Solo Mode mechanics. However, players will also enjoy a Co-Op and its family-friendly adventures for everyone to enjoy casually, according to the CEO of Snapshot Games:

With Chip โ€˜n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, we set out to create a dynamic and accessible action RTS experience that players can dive into together. We canโ€™t wait for players to jump into the action, meet the gameโ€™s unique characters and enjoy the heroic adventures that await โ€“ starting with the demo in just a couple of days!

Julian Gollop, CEO of Snapshot Games.

The Chip ‘N Clawz vs. the Brainioids team also shared in the announcement trailer a demo for the next Steam Next Fest, which will take place from February 24 to March 3.

Friend or Foe

In Chip ‘N Clawz, your primary mission in Solo Mode will be to put an end to the aliens’ nefarious plans and eliminate them from the planet. Build your own arsenal and fill it up to the ceiling with all kinds of weapons; learn to use your hero abilities or rely on building your own minion army. Any strategy will do to survive dangerous boss encounters or analyze your strategy for large-scale battles. However, you are not safe even with your loved ones. The game contains various multiplayer modes such as Local co-op, Online co-op, and PvP 1v1 or 2v2. Also, each challenge has two difficulty levels, so you must find a real challenge that meets your expectations.

Also, its charming comic book style is very eye-catching, but it’s not the only thing related to comics. You must search the map for various collectibles, among them comic books, to discover more about the history of this world and its fun and unique characters. Chip ‘N Clawz vs. the Brainioids will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox consoles.
