At today’s Xbox Series X event, Deep Silver (Metro Exodus, Saints Row) and Fishlabs have announced Chorus. The game is an adventure space shooter with a huge focus on spaceship combat and story. Chorus releases in 2021, coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. It will be optimized for the Series X, sporting high performance and stunning visuals. Joining with the announcement, the team showed off a trailer featuring some cinematics and a glimpse at the gameplay you can expect.

Chorus

Chorus follows the journey of Nara, a deadly warrior who was once part of the Circle. After abandoning the organization, Nara is being hunted by them and must not only evade them but also destroy them. With the help of her ship, Forsaken, Nara will explore vast temples and discover the secrets of her past. The game also promises to provide a “true evolution of the space-combat shooter” with supernatural abilities and incredibly powerful weapons. Space-combat fans are going to have a lot to love while playing through Chorus, and we hope it’s as good as promised.

CHORUS Announce Trailer [Official]

From the trailer alone, it looks like they’re starting on the right foot. The space-combat looks very fast-paced and fun. You get a glimpse of some of Forsaken’s capabilities like a blink and the weapon systems. They appear hard-hitting which is going to prove fun for a lot of players. The cinematics shown as well are already looking stunning too. Specifically, the cinematic where she appears to have found Forsaken looks beautiful with those massive red backdrops. With the visuals and gameplay on the forefront, I have no doubts Chorus will go down as an awesome space shooter.

If you plan to play the title on PC, you can now wishlist the game through its Steam page. Does Chorus look appealing to you? What other space shooters have you played? Let us know, and stay tuned at The Nerd Stash for all your news, reviews, and more!
