Chris Brown is once again facing serious legal heat, but it’s not stopping fans from swooning over the R&B star’s latest courtroom appearance. The 36-year-old singer pleaded not guilty on Friday to charges stemming from a London nightclub bottle attack that allegedly took place two years ago. Prosecutors claim Brown tried to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH) to music producer Abraham Diaw during an “unprovoked” incident involving a tequila bottle, which he’s also now charged with possessing as an offensive weapon.

Brown also faces a separate charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but the judge postponed his plea on that count until a scheduled July 11 hearing. His GBH trial is set for October 26, 2026. But while the courtroom drama continues to unfold, fans were far more focused on Chris Brown’s appearance than his legal woes.
Chris Brown Denies London Nightclub Assault As Fans Thirst Over Courtroom Appearance
Social media lit up with thirst-filled reactions, with one fan writing, “OMG, please I’m on my knees,” while another swooned, “Man, know he sexy, OMG.” Others chimed in calling him a “fine, fine man” and admitting, “I get weak when I see him looking this good.” Even in the middle of a high-stakes trial, Brown’s fashion choices, and his undeniable swagger, are clearly still leaving fans breathless.
Brown appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London just hours after performing for thousands of fans at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. Dressed in a sharp blue suit with black-rimmed glasses, he kept quiet as he made his way past a swarm of photographers and into the building, though he did manage to flash a smile and wink at someone in the courtroom gallery once inside. After confirming his name and birthdate, May 5, 1989, Brown responded clearly when asked for his plea: “Not guilty, ma’am.”
Brown Posts £5M Bond After Shocking UK Arrest
Brown’s co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, aka HoodyBaby, also entered a not guilty plea to the GBH charge. The two were arrested after arriving in the UK for Brown’s European tour. Brown was taken into custody at The Lowry Hotel in Salford, Greater Manchester, and spent nearly a week behind bars before posting a staggering £5 million security bond to secure his release.

Though the charges are no joke, Brown’s loyal fans are standing by him, with many showing up in person to court and even more crowding social media to declare their undying devotion. Only time will tell how this case plays out in court. But if one thing’s clear, it’s that Chris Brown’s charm hasn’t lost its power, no matter what headlines he’s making.
