Chris Noth’s cameo reunion with Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie in the And Just Like That… finale has been canceled. And Just Like That is the HBO Sex and the City continuation, with lots of familiar faces and new ones. Chris Noth reprised his role as Big for the first episode of the HBO Max comedy-drama series. Big ended up dying in Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) arms from a massive heart attack. Many online were dismayed by the abrupt end to his character, even arguing that he should have survived. The plan was that Big would appear to Carrie as she spread his ashes over Pont des Arts bridge in Paris. The And Just Like That team said that his appearance was not significant enough to retain for the season finale. Carrie will have to find another way to get closure in the HBO Max comedy-drama series.
Chris Noth is in Hot Water
The sexual assault allegations keep piling up against Noth. The former And Just Like That cast member stated back on Dec. 16 to the Hollywood Reporter, “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.” His agency didn’t seem to believe in him enough to keep him on as a client though. One of Noth’s exes, Beverly Johnson, has even come out to say that the actor threatened to kill her. The discontinuation of Noth being in the And Just Like That finale is the least of his worries. Sarah Jessica Parker has released a statement in support of Noth’s accusers, co-signed by Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. It may not be just the end of the actor’s tenure on the HBO Max comedy-drama series, but his career. The actor has made no comments about his dropped cameo in the And Just Like That…finale.
You can watch the Sex and the City revival series only on HBO Max.
