Season 13 has officially kicked off alongside the arrival of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, and while many might be focusing on the campaign of the latter, several will just want to jump into the new season and climb the ranks. Yet, as usual, it is important to know which classes are performing better than others, since picking one class over another will make a huge difference when going through Skovos. For that reason, we’ve prepared our own Tier List for Diablo 4 Season 13, for both leveling and endgame.
Leveling Tier List for Diablo 4: Season 13

When it comes to leveling in Diablo 4: Season 13, we’ve made the following tier list:
- S-Rank: Warlock and Paladin
- A-Rank: Rogue and Spiritborn
- B-Rank: Sorcerer and Necromancer
- C-Rank: Barbarian and Druid
For the S-Ranks, it should be no surprise that Warlock and Paladin are at the top. Being the new kids in the block, they have so many options for powerful leveling builds, with the Dread Claws one being at the top for Warlocks, and the classic Hammer Paladin being the best for this class.
A-Ranks, on the other hand, are also fantastic when it comes to leveling, and Rogue and Spiritborn stand almost at the top. Rogues can do some quick leveling with the good old AoE knives build, and Spiritborn players will need to focus again on the Eagle-oriented build, which is still one of the best for the class for both leveling and endgame.
If you play with either Sorcerer or Necromancer, we feel both land on B-Rank, as they are still solid choices, but will struggle with a much slower leveling pace. For builds, the Sorcerer is still great with Fire/Lightning builds, while the Necromancer will still excel at summoning builds.
Last but not least, we have Druid and Barbarian at C-Rank, which are still some of the lowest classes when it comes to leveling, especially the latter. Druid is still great with magic-oriented builds, and Barbarian is still stuck with the Hammer of the Ancients build.
Endgame Tier List for Diablo 4: Season 13
And now, for the endgame, the rankings may change a bit, especially since some classes actually get their time to shine with a proper build.
- S-Rank: Warlock, Paladin, and Sorcerer
- A-Rank: Barbarian, Rogue, and Spiritborn
- B-Rank: Druid and Necromancer
For our S-Ranks, we still have the two new classes, mainly because of how versatile their builds are. While Warlock and Paladin may favor one build for leveling, everything changes in endgame, where they have several build options for all endgame content. Sorcerer, on the other hand, climbs through the ranks due to having a couple of new endgame build options, with most of them still focusing on lightning skills.
Oddly enough, Barbarian joins A-Rank alongside Rogue and Spiritborn, and that’s due to Barbarian having way more endgame options that make it one of the best endgame classes. Spiritborn players might need to change builds into more Evade-focused ones, and Rogues still stand strong with either melee or ranged builds.
For the endgame, we’ll stop at B-Rank because all classes look pretty solid, yet Druid and Necromancer remain at the bottom. The sole reason why they aren’t higher on the list is due to how limited the endgame builds feel for both classes. With more versatile options, they’d be higher up on our tier list, but for now, they are just the least fun classes to play in Season 13.
In the end, and as we always say, you should always focus on your favorite class, because if the classes at the top aren’t to your liking, then leveling up or endgame content will start feeling stale. Fortunately, you can get the hang of each class pretty quickly, so don’t hesitate on trying a few of them before making your final choice.
