Clever Georgia Man Finds Viral Solution for High Gas Prices and Everyone Wants to Try It: ‘Desperate times call for desperate measures’

Does the insurance cover acts of dog?

With gas and diesel prices skyrocketing over the past few weeks, thanks to a certain war, many people across the US are scrambling for alternatives and ways to ease the burden. One man from Georgia even went viral for his attempt at an alternative to modern transportation, by stringing up a bunch of Siberian Huskies and making them pull his carriage. Needless to say, the witnesses were amazed, and many even want to try it out.

The video, originally uploaded by TikTok user wearethebest2752 and reuploaded a few weeks later amid gas price hikes, shows a man riding a custom-built carriage that’s being pulled by several Siberian Huskies on MLK Jr. Dr. in Adamsville, Atlanta, Georgia. Apparently, he’s a popular local in the city of Atlanta, and his husky carriage has been spotted many times before, even as far back as months ago.

In the video, you can see the group of huskies happily pulling the carriage along, though they appear to stop to sniff out something on the ground. It’s not clear whether the husky carriage was the owner’s solution to making dog walks more relaxed or if he ultimately made it his main mode of transportation. However, it’s worth noting that huskies were specifically bred for running and pulling sleds, so this is right up their alley and something they enjoy.

People Online Thought It Was a Good Alternative

Regardless of the husky carriage owner’s intentions, he definitely inspired many troubled Americans online, especially amid the debilitating gas prices. Certain commenters even stated how the carriage could be viable, “Bravo to the inventive person using dogs – dog food is cheaper than gas,” and how it’s a win for everybody since huskies need to spend their energy on something, “Them Huskies loving life.”

Dog poop on the streets might become a problem if people adopt the carriage en masse, of course, just as horse droppings became a prevalent issue in cities before motorized vehicles became the norm. However, that’s probably more manageable now compared to paying so much for gas, as one YouTube comment puts it, “Hey, he’s ahead of the curve. Everybody’s laughing now, but he’s not paying those crazy gas prices. Puppy power!😂.”

Meanwhile, gas prices all over the US continue to surge, with some politicians even voicing how it also affects them now. A more well-off individual, a US Senator, even complained about paying $150 just a few days ago to fill his pickup truck, blaming President Trump for the struggle. If the gas trend continues, some dog lovers and husky owners might just follow the Georgia man’s example, “Desperate times call for desperate measures! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶,” as explained by a commenter.
