We’ve now had well over a month to sink our teeth into COD: Black Ops Cold War and its offerings. Between the refreshed Zombies mode, enjoyable Campaign, and classic multiplayer we all know and love, there’s plenty to get your hands on. With that being said, many are getting a little bored with what’s there and have even completed a lot of it. Hell, I’ve gotten max prestige and already played tons of Zombies so I’m at least partially in that boat. Starting today though, there’ll be plenty more to play through. COD: Black Ops Cold War’s massive Season One update is finally available, gracing us with plenty of new stuff to sink our teeth into. You can find the reloaded trailer made for the update below.
COD: Black Ops Cold War Season One features so much more content to make it the biggest Black Ops offering yet. The biggest of all of this is the eight new maps on offer, including fan-favorite Raid from Black Ops 2. Four of these maps are also part of the Gunfight mode, a 2v2 offering where players battle to be the first to score so many rounds. Given I only play the multiplayer with one other person, I’ll be digging into Gunfight a fair amount myself. To go with that though, there are two new guns with one more to come mid-season, the game’s first battle pass, and more!
As far as Zombies offerings go in COD: Black Ops Cold War, there’s a fair amount changed there too. You can now make use of the Cruise Missile scorestreak if you so choose, and there’s a festive mode available as well known as Jingle Hells. Who knows what kind of holiday adventures will be on offer. These join the two new weapons being part of the Mystery Box loot table, so have fun getting the weapon you want.
This is a huge update, some of it I didn’t even have the chance to cover. If you want to see the full patch notes for yourself, you can find those here.
