Cole And His Twin Sustained Their Parents Financially
On Wednesday’s episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Cole noted that he and Dylan provided for their parents financially.
While Cole and Dylan worked hard as they sacrificed their childhood, it happened that their mom was financially irresponsible. He noted that she spent and lost all the money they worked for by the time they were 10.
However, Cole admitted that he doesn’t blame his mom, Melanie Wright Sprouse, as she had issues with mental health and addiction.
Cole Shares Details About His Parents
“Both my brother and I went through a lengthy court battle at about 10,” he told Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper.
He added that the court battle was about their custody and how it was taken from their mom and given to their dad. Cole also spoke about the striking difference between his mom’s and dad’s ideas about his and Dylan’s acting career.
He shared that his dad wanted them to live like normal kids, but his mom wanted the opposite. While the twins didn’t have the best experience with their mom, Cole praised his mom.
He called her an “incredibly wonderful and artistic woman,” even though she was financially irresponsible.
When asked about his relationship with her, Cole noted that they didn’t have a relationship. However, he admitted that he misses her a lot. Cole, the one-time movie child star, is now 30 and doing incredibly well in his career.
