Concerned Resident Breaks Down Tyrannical Ohio GOP Bill That Seeks To Allow ICE Access Into Hospitals: ‘It’s Absolute Blackmail’

The tyranny of ICE in Ohio has left the stage of being a choice to become an actual law. A resident explained that a bill was introduced by a group of GOP lawmakers, and she took her time to break it down. Among other things, the bill gave ICE agents unrestricted access to hospitals.

2/9/2026: GOP lawmakers in Ohio want to pile on the cruelty and mandate cooperation with 🧊 from all law enforcement, healthcare workers and hospitals. This package of bills is so bad and not surprisingly is led by representative Josh Williams. Vote them out! #ohio #ohiopolitics

In a TikTok video, the concerned resident explained what the “package of bills called the cooperation package” meant.  She noted that all of the Bills were aimed at allowing “ICE to operate in Ohio with impunity.” The concerned resident explained that the bills “mandated” all local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE. Secondly, they considered any undocumented persons in Ohio to have automatically committed a State felony. The most shocking was that it permitted ICE agents to access patient treatment areas in hospitals, and any hospital that did not comply with this would lose its Medicaid funding and state grants. She added that the bills permitted anyone who was “deemed to be obstructing an arrest by ICE” to be charged with a felony.

“And you know they are going to extrapolate this to anyone standing around blowing a whistle to cause any kind of distraction,” she predicted. The woman called people to wake up and vote “these people” out because they were set on terrorizing “Black and Brown people and anyone with an accent.”

The resident concluded by saying, “We need lawmakers in office that are actually going to do things that would benefit everyday Ohioans, and this ain’t it.” Just like the resident, many people who were as disturbed by the recent happenings wasted no time expressing their feelings in the comments.

“It’s absolute blackmail to hospitals,” one TikToker wrote. “Nothing says love like extorting hospitals, so they let you kidnap their patients and staff,” another said sarcastically.  “Going into hospitals and schools is INSANE,” one user exclaimed. “Especially with the healthcare thing, that’s a huge HIPAA violation if not accompanied by a warrant,” another chimed in.

“Too bad our politicians don’t care as much about pedos as they do about illegals. They ‘care’ about children while they cut federal funding to food assistance, medical care, education, childcare. But, yes, please tell me again how important it is for brown people to leave our country while we have a pedo protector for president,” a TikToker lamented.  “I can’t imagine living with this much hatred in my heart. Absolute monsters,” another stated.

“My point is that they are slapping felony on everything in sight, and this seems like an attempt to disarm the people they don’t like,” a user said. “If I’m gonna get a felony anyway, might as well earn it,” another responded.

One netizen said, “Guys, it’s going to get worse. Vote like your life depends on it, because eventually, it just might.” A last one wrote, “They can legislate whatever the [expletive] they want. Tons of citizens will resist the unconstitutional behavior of ICE, regardless. Their legislative stupidity and cruelty so do not invalidate our nation’s constitution.”
