I think we can all agree that the United States of America is currently in an economic crisis that prevents many people from affording their rent, let alone a home. So that’s why it was so shocking for a woman in Atlanta, Georgia, when she found that the loft she and her husband purchased in 2023 was up for rent.

What’s even wilder than that is that the person apparently renting the loft out isn’t even asking for applications, just the cash required in the listing. I know the market is rough out there, but I can’t imagine finding the place I’m currently living in is up for rent on TikTok.

#greenscreenvideo #greenscreen every single unit in this building is different. That video was taken in MY LOFT that I OWN in 2023 so I am not sure why this person is posting it saying it is for rent. But she was really rude and blocked me so please go blow up her comments :)

Madison O’Hora, whose TikTok username is @madisonohora, was scrolling through the app one day when a rather interesting video popped up on her feed: the loft she currently lives in was up for rent. She explains that she purchased the unit with her husband in 2024 and hasn’t made any moves to put it back on the market.

When she reached out to the supposed realtor who posted the video, @mosstiaa, she was immediately met with some rather odd hostility. Madison shares a screenshot of the messages she and the realtor exchanged before the realtor blocked her. Madison had started the conversation saying, “The video of the loft you just posted is literally my house that I purchased in March 2024..?” In response to this, the realtor said, “not understanding why you are texting me?“

Shortly after this first interaction, you can see that the realtor blocked Madison, preventing further communication. To further make her point, she takes a video of the inside of her loft and, sure enough, it is exactly the same as the one featured on @mosstiaa’s account, which is still up.

Commenters were just as stunned as Madison was, with one person getting straight to the point and saying, “Her video says you don’t need to apply- just have $ ready. Someone is going to get scammed.” Another commenter was focused on Madison’s safety, saying, “Change the locks. ASAP. Get cameras. But pls change your locks.“

Currently, an update has not been made to the matter, though, as previously mentioned, the loft is still listed as for rent on the realtor’s page. Hopefully, things will be worked out before someone is potentially scammed.
