The Tree Planting Festival is an interesting event that you can participate in on Spring 21 in Coral Island. Your main goal here will be to restore the forest, and while you can avoid attending this event, you will lose out on many benefits, such as interacting with other characters and buying unique items in the festival shop. To complete the event, you will need to go through 3 stages, which can be a long process if you are not well-prepared.

To take part in the festival, first, you need to wait for an email that will inform you about it. The day before the event you will receive this letter, so you can prepare before you go there. It is recommended that you have bronze tools, especially a scythe, to complete the tasks that await you there. Also, don’t forget to take care of your farm and water all the crops because you won’t be there the next day.

You can get to the festival between 8:00 and 14:00 hours. Just head north of your farm, where the Ranch is located. Not far from the water mill, you will notice a balloon that is attached to a tree stump. Interact with it, and click “Yes” when you are asked to attend the festival. Now you will be taken to the festival location, where other inhabitants of the island will be waiting for you. You can talk to them and also look through the goods offered in the festival shop. Among the local products are the following:

  • Oak Seeds: 5 gold
  • Pine Cone: 5 gold
  • Maple Seeds: 5 gold
  • Compost: 10 gold
  • Wild Seeds: 30 gold
  • Fertilizer 1: 32 gold
  • Candied Tree Seed: 56 gold
  • Fertilizer 2: 56 gold

When you’re finally done with the exploration, you can start participating in the event. To do so, approach Mayor Connor and interact with him.

There are 3 stages to this task for you to complete, each of which requires different actions to help the island’s inhabitants revive the forest. Here are the stages you’ll have to complete:

  • Cleaning: First, you will need to go through the area and clean up all the garbage, such as trash, stumps, logs, and grass. You will need to use a scythe and an axe to remove it all. In total, you will have to remove 114 items of garbage, but don’t worry because during the festival, you will not waste your stamina.
  • Prepare the soil for the saplings: The next step is to prepare the soil before planting the seedlings. You will need to work 4 squares of land in each of the 11 zones with fenced ropes. Here, the hoe will be your main tool, so pick it up and get to work.
  • Plant the saplings: Once you’re done with the tilling, your next and final task is to plant the saplings. In total, you will receive 20 festival tree saplings that need to be planted in 20 zones. It won’t take long, just walk up to the plot and interact with it to plant a sapling.

Once you are done with all the steps, the Coral Island tree planting festival will be done, and you can have fun by interacting with other characters, or by visiting the aforementioned shop.
