The Bearded Ladies shared nearly 30 minutes of gameplay footage from their upcoming tactical strategy Corruption 2029.
Based in a dystopian America, Corruption 2029 takes you to an uneven war against the brutal enemies infected by the CORRUPTION. Not many details have been provided so far on the game’s story, but the atmosphere and environment of Corruption 2029 shown in conjure up a life-empty society, taken over by turned-rogue military armies that won’t hesitate to kill you and your squad once you’ve been spotted.
Featuring all the typical classes for a shooter game, in Corruption 2029 you will have access to a wide variety of close-range and long-range weapons. Besides, some cybernetic and futuristic augmentations and gears will be available to use. Some of the have been shown in the gameplay trailer, such as an ability that allows you to disappear from the enemy’s eyesight for a limited time.
Gameplay-wise, Corruption 2029 features quite a bit different mechanics and elements compared to Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, the latest title of The Bearded Ladies. Corruption 2029 is mainly focused on stealth action which requires flawless plans before engaging.
