The writer behind both Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, Jeff Loveness, has teased that there could be a possible involvement of Charlie Cox as Daredevil in the Avengers 5 team, which will be our new team Avengers taking over after the events of Endgame. We are finally getting Cox’s Daredevil back in action after not only his appearance in No Way Home and She-Hulk, but also in his new upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, but now we might get him in much more.
Will Daredevil Be On The Avengers 5 Team?
The MCU definitely seems like it wants to get a lot bigger, and bringing back some of the iconic characters from past series and comics is one way to do just that. In a recent interview with Polygon, writer Jeff Loveness made a brief comment on the role that Matt Murdock might have going forward in the MCU. It is obvious that the next big, huge enemy is going to be Variants of Kang, which is set up for an even bigger fight than Thanos.
Loveness made a joke that he “[wishes] Hawkeye a lot of luck” against them and then “[he’s] sure Daredevil and Moon Knight are gonna be great against those guys.” This definitely seems like a tease that these two Disney+ series heroes could be appearing in this big fight, which would be truly amazing for the franchise.
There were rumors that the director was pushing for a new Avengers line-up that could include Hulk, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight. For now, though, there isn’t much we know about this movie and who exactly has or will be cast for it. There have been many rumors of the past Spider-Man Tobey and Andrew characters coming to the setup again too, but nothing can be sure yet.
