2020 is a year of nostalgia and delays. Although a lot of things have gone wrong this year, video games have helped the world to escape the negativity. Despite many games being delayed, the world remained hopeful that they would get to play the latest upcoming titles. Now with 2020 two-thirds complete, gamers have experienced the beauty of Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us 2, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. 2020 has also been a year of nostalgia, reconnect gamers with Dragonball Z: Kakarot, Bayonetta, and soon Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
In June, Toys for Bob announced Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. With a little over a month until the game’s release, the Microsoft Store has revealed the game’s file size. The Xbox One listing of the game has been revealed and is rather tiny for modern standards. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will require 30.01 Gigabytes of hard drive space; the PlayStation 4’s file size should be similar when the game releases on October 2nd, 2020.
Fans of the Crash Bandicoot franchise have waited over a decade for a new main series title. In 2017, Vicarious Visions alongside Toys for Bob released the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time features a new game mode called N. Verted Mode. N. Verted Mode is an alternate mirror mode that provides new takes on various crash worlds. This new mode features a variety of changes including an old-timey film set gameplay speed changes, and other radical variations of Crash’s world.
