There are different reasons why people use food delivery apps. Whatever the case may be, people trust these apps because they are supposed to ensure the order arrives in good condition. However, some unhinged people working for these same apps are putting customers’ lives at risk. Take this DoorDash driver in Evansville, Indiana, who sprayed a bag of food when delivering an order to a customer. The most disturbing thing is that the customer and the DoorDash driver didn’t even interact or meet.
On TikTok, @itsyagirlleonna shared a video of a doorbell camera that caused quite a stir. The reason is that the camera recorded that, in Evansville, Indiana, a DoorDash driver arrived with a delivery and left it in front of the door, but instead of just leaving, she used a spray on the food bag. However, the case did not end there, because @itsyagirlleonna commented in the same post about an update and how “14news is involved.”
In this second video, the news reports that the customer, Mark Cardin, took the bag without knowing anything about the spray, and it was his wife who took the food and started eating first. Within seconds, Mark’s wife began coughing and choking on the food, even vomiting. Mark began to check the packaging and noticed something strange, so he immediately opened his camera app to see what had happened. That’s when Mark saw the Door Dasher spray what Mark first thought was pepper spray, but he was still concerned that it could be something more dangerous, such as poison.
“This is a felony for tampering with your food, endangering your health,” said ✨Madame Midnight✨.
Mark immediately contacted DoorDash and the police to file a report, and he is waiting for the police to file charges against the driver. Meanwhile, Mark’s wife is dealing with a severe infection, and if the damage worsens, the charges against the driver could be more serious. Many users believe the driver may have acted this way because she did not receive tips, even though Mark clarified that she did, or because the tip was too small.

There is no reason anyone should act this way and commit a crime. What’s more, this Door Dasher dared to do it in front of the customer’s house. Fortunately, Mark had a camera and with it, evidence to arrest the culprit.
