A rather small and negligible altercation between two men in Michigan abruptly escalated after a woman decided to step in and ram the other guy using her car with no license plate before promptly zooming away. The hit-and-run has caused quite a concern for the victim, though some have criticized his survival skills or lack thereof.
The incident took place on a Michigan street driveway and was recorded by the victim himself. The video was also posted on Reddit by user Merchant_Alert. In the footage, the victim only began recording after being shoved by what appears to be the aggressor, another man with a female companion driving a car. Here’s the clip:
Soon after the recording began, the woman called back her companion to get into the car, which was a Kia Forte. Afterward, the victim confronted the female driver. The woman could’ve easily driven forward, but for some reason, decided to back away, align her car to the victim, and then accelerate, practically ramming the victim, who then appears to have rolled over the hood or the roof of the car and then onto the ground.
It seems the woman and her companion even tried to play the race card before flipping off the victim and then ramming into him. So far, there has been no update on the whereabouts of the woman and her companion, or their Kia. Thankfully, the victim was able to capture the temporary Michigan license plate taped to the woman’s car’s rear windshield, which was hastily and crudely written.
Some Were Concerned With the Victim’s Lack of Awareness
While the woman and her companion were clearly at fault, people who have witnessed the situation unfold for the victim also criticized the man for his poor response. Some believe that he kept agitating the woman who, at the point in the video, was already weaponizing her car.
Others were saying that the victim should have just walked away and been wiser, given his disadvantage in the altercation. It’s not clear yet what kind of injuries the victim has sustained after being rammed by a Kia Forte, but he surely has one heck of an evidence to present in Michigan courts and could easily open a case for attempted murder.
