While I completely understand why there are people in the world who believe that having a gun or weapon by their side would make them feel safe, there are others whose reasoning for having a weapon makes no sense at all. In Northampton, Massachusetts, a man was recording him self having an altercation with a neighbor when, suddenly, that neighbor runs to his house across the street and returns with a weapon. Something tells me that maybe doing that while being recorded isn’t the smartest idea.
The above video was posted to the TikTok account bonkers580, and is from the point of view of someone in a neighborhood having an altercation with their neighbor. You can see that the neighbor also has their phone out to record. The very first thing the man does is ask, “Why are you here?” but does not allow the other man time to answer because he immediately runs home. It appears that maybe he felt much more threatened by the first man recording.
However, he ends up returning seconds later with what looks like some kind of bat or maybe even a machete. It definitely looks to be a long weapon of some kind. I’m curious to know what it was doing in such an easy-to-reach area where anyone would have been able to grab it and use it. Something tells me that the man in the video had been looking for a reason to use it for a long time.
While walking toward the man who had posted the video, you can hear the first man scream, “Hey, you!” very loudly. It’s likely that this was to get the attention of other neighbors so they could peek out their windows to see what all the commotion was about. This is where the video ends, and commentators were quick to give their opinions on the whole scenario, with one of the top comments saying, “USA one of the most unsafe countries in the world.“
Others were more focused on how much danger the person recording was in, and how things could very easily have gone sideways, with one person saying, “and ppl say im lying when I tell them America is so dangerous you can get unalived just for walking outside for absolutely no reason but because ppl feel like it…America is not a safe country at all.”
I would like to think that this neighbor will think twice the next time something like this happens, but according to the other videos on the account, it’s very likely that this hatred is spread to the rest of the city. He even has another video of a Northampton Karen blocking traffic so he can make a phone call in the middle of the road.
