A man was minding his own business in Grapevine, Texas, when all of a sudden, a mad Karen parked next to him. She proceeded to accuse him of stealing the car he was driving, despite the fact that the vehicle belonged to him. Her reason behind the accusation? Her husband told her so.
The bizarre Karen encounter was posted to TikTok by user deion_vq. Deion, a Black man, wrote that he was in the middle of his lunch break and was eating at an empty parking lot. After a brief walk, he noticed a car pulling up next to his vehicle, which he thought was weird. The weirdness, however, was only getting started.
“I then see this lady saying something to me but my windows were closed. I’m thinking maybe she got a question need help etc,” Deion wrote. “She starts going off about how I stole this car and asking me what I’m doing here and with this car.”
The video shows the Texas Karen behind the wheel. She eventually rolls her window down and accuses the man of stealing his own car. The outrageous accusation was overshadowed by the outlandish explanation she gave to Deion.
“I know you stole that car because I talked to my husband,” the Karen said. “My husband asked me to come over here and look at his car.”
Bizarre Accusation, Reactions
Deion, understandably, was left aghast by the woman’s excuse. “I never thought this was gonna happen, like ever,” he said. He laughed and said that the Karen, who was drinking from a Whataburger cup, was “high as [expletive].”
With no one forcing him to remain at the parking lot, and with the Karen just sitting in her vehicle nonchalantly, Deion just left in his Nissan Z-car.
Just like Deion, users were shocked by the strangeness of the woman’s accusation and the excuse behind it. “So her husband sent her to talk to a man that stole a car ??? What an amazing husband lol,” one user said. A second one commented, “Also, she talked to her husband, what he got to do with this? Her husband sent her to different places to investigate??” A third one added, “Are we still accusing black people of stealing cars?“
The woman has not been identified, and it’s unclear whether the “husband” exists or is aware of the supposed odd request.
