Focus Home Entertainment and Passtech Games have confirmed their popular fantasy game Curse of the Dead Gods will release as a finalized version on 23 February.

Curse of the Dead Gods is a skill-based rogue-like fantasy game. Players must dive into a perilous dungeon filled with ancient ruins and face off against the gods that control it. Up to now,  the game has only been available in Early Access for PC. Still, despite a full release, it managed to prove itself popular within the community. During Early Access on Steam, the game maintained an impressive 90% positive reviews.

Watch the release trailer below:

Coupled with the upcoming launch, the game will arrive with a couple of new features. Specifically, there’s an update bringing a true ending to the journey. Additionally, there’s a new way to explore the Temple dedicated to the God of Death itself.

Sylvain Passot, Studio Director at Passtech Games, was proud of the team behind the game and its passionate players so far:

“The full release of Curse of the Dead Gods wouldn’t have been possible without all of the incredible work from the entire team and our excellent community of early access players. The amazing community that has grown around the game has really pushed it to the right direction. We can’t wait to welcome all the players to the Temple, and we’re looking further ahead to 2021 for exciting new content!”

As well as releasing for PC on the Steam and Epic Games stores, it will also be available for consoles. It will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Sadly, there is still no word on whether it will drop in the next-generation lineup of consoles. Hopefully, we see support for new consoles soon.

Will you be playing Curse of the Dead Gods when it officially launched on February 23? Let me know in the comments below!
