The first sign CD Projekt gave of their commitment to improving the game was the free update for next-generation consoles. That was offered for both The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 owners. With the upgraded version, the players saw that a stable and improved Cyberpunk was possible. The continued fan communication, special events, and the Netflix series were the next steps of Cyberpunk 2077‘s reputation rebuild.
