The hotfix for April 2023 for Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived, and here are all the changes and improvements mentioned in the patch notes. The latest update does not bring a long list of changes and is not even close to as impactful as the previous update that changed the game almost completely (if you had the right hardware). This update mainly focuses on fixing some of the most common hard crashes that players were facing. Other than that, CDPR confirmed that the update will not change the game’s version but might affect any mods you have enabled on your game. So if your game is modded, you might want to back everything up before downloading the latest hotfix. Here is the complete list of patch notes for the update for April 2023 for Cyberpunk 2077:

Cyberpunk 2077 Update for April 2023 Patch Notes

  • A hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 is out now! Among others, it fixes the two most frequent crashes, including the one occurring during the final quest. Dynamic Resolution Scaling setting will now consistently grey out when Path Tracing is enabled.
  • The update won’t change the version of the game visible in the main menu but might still affect mods.

The last update for Cyberpunk 2077 brought some massive changes to the game, and if you have the requisite hardware, you should probably give it a shot. It introduced real-time path-tracing to the game, DLAA, Intel XESS, benchmark improvements, and much more. This changed the game’s graphics by a lot. Real-time path-tracing makes the game’s atmosphere a lot more realistic and is definitely the best way to experience Cyberpunk 2077.

The hotfix update for April 2023 for Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. For more information on future updates and patch notes, head over to the official Cyberpunk 2077 Steam page here.
